If you want to monitor how a brand performs in AI Answers over time, Isturankings AI Results Tracker is your command center. It turns one-off research into always-on tracking, so you can see what's changing across Google's AI Overviews, AI Mode, and Gemini, as well as Chats GPT and Perplexity, as well as prove the impact of your work. With the help of the AI Results Tracker, you can track priority prompts, measure whether you're mentioned or linked in AI Answers, watch positions and trends, and quickly spot wins, drops, and new opportunities. You'll also learn which competitors are gaining ground, and which sources AI engines rely on most for your topics. To access the tool, go to Projects, pick a website for analysis, click AI Results Tracker, and you're in. The workspace here is organized into three sub-tabs, Rankings, Competitors, and Sources. At the top of Rankings, you'll see a quick snapshot of your project. The total number of tracked prompts and the date of the last update here let you know how large the database is and how fresh the results are. Using the Search Engine dropdown, you can select the AI surface you want to focus on, and use the calendar to set your analysis window. Pick a single day, individual dates, or a custom date range to study trends. Use the Action buttons on the right to manage and share your setup. Expand your list of tracked prompts using the Add Prompts button. Export your data to an XLSX or a CSV file, perfect for weekly reporting or deeper analysis. Open Project Settings to adjust tracking preferences for this project. And if you need to share read-only access, click Guest Link to generate a shareable URL. You can include current filters and sorting, optionally hide search volume, and grant access only to AI Results Tracker or other modules you choose. Just below, three overview cards summarize performance. Mention and Link Presence shows the share of answers that include your brand mention and your site link. The Top 3 Presence tells you how often you appear among the first three citations, whether it's a mention or a link. And Sources Presence indicates the percentage of answers that provide any source links at all. Useful context for understanding how linky an AI engine was during your selected period. Beneath the cards, two charts visualize movement over time. Mention and Link Presence plots brand versus link visibility. And Sources Presence tracks how frequently AI answers include citations, helping you spot spikes, dips, and patterns at a glance. Scroll down to the Analyze Prompts table to see day-by-day results for each prompt. The left side includes a search box plus two quick filters, Mention Position and Link Position, so you can narrow the list to what matters most. Each row is a prompt, with per-day columns that display your mention and link status for that date. You'll either see a position like 1 and 2, a subtle dash when there's no mention, or notes like no sources when the AI answer didn't include external links at all. Click the Mention Position filter to target prompts where you've had no mentions, ones not present in LLM results, or to set a position range to, for example, show only mentions in positions 1 to 3. Do the same with the Link Position filter to isolate cases with no sources, not present in LLM results, or a position range for links. Handy when you're auditing top 3 performance or chasing a specific ranking threshold. If you click a specific result in the table, a detailed information panel opens for that date. It shows the prompt, date, your mention position and link position, and quick links to view LLM answer text, a cached copy of LLM results, and a competitor's view. This saves time when you need to verify what exactly changed and why. Choosing View LLM Answer Text reveals the verbatim answer the AI provided for that prompt on that date, so you can confirm the context, headings, and phrasing the engine used. Perfect for aligning your page structure and on-page details to what's actually being summarized. And if you open the cached copy of LLM results, you'll see a preserved snapshot of the AI answer as it appeared, complete with citations, the selected engine and market, and the full answer layout. Use this to validate which sources were credited, review how your brand was presented, and share an exact point-in-time view with stakeholders. When you're ready to expand from a single prompt to a broader competitive picture, there are a few convenient jump-offs to the Competitors module. From the detailed information pop-up, click View Competitors at the bottom to open the same prompt in the Competitor view. In the table, you can also click on the Competitors icon in a prompt row to pivot directly from that prompt. And if you prefer working from row actions, open the three-dot menu and choose View Competitors. Or, simply use the left-hand menu to switch to the Competitors module and get a detailed comparison of who's winning mentions and links across your tracked prompts. Here you get a side-by-side, date-by-date view of who AI answers mention and link for a specific prompt. At the top, you can pick your date range, but we show the dynamics for the last three days by default. Then, choose the prompt you want to analyze. Each day appears as its own column with two stacked lists. AI Mentions shows the brands or websites named in the answer, and AI Source Links uncovers the domains or URLs cited in the answer. By the way, you're at liberty to open the AI answer text or a cached copy for any date to verify the context behind the rankings. Using the Prompt Selector, you can quickly switch topics. In the dropdown, each prompt shows an icon that tells you its current status. A blue link icon means you're cited with a link, a gray link icon means you're only mentioned, and no sources indicates there were no external links for that prompt on that day. This lets you prioritize prompts where you can realistically upgrade a mention into a link. Clicking on a website in either the AI Mentions or AI Source Links lists lets you follow it across the timeline. The tracker highlights that site in every column and shows movement markers where positions changed, so you can see whether they're climbing, slipping, or holding steady. It's a fast way to spot who's gaining ground on a given prompt and when the shift happened. Switch over to the Sources module when you want to see which pages and domains AI answers lean on most. It helps you pinpoint the highest-leveraged citations to target, so you can prioritize outreach, refresh on-page references, and create content that's more likely to be cited next. Here you see a list of source pages along with columns for source usage that shows how many times a page was cited in your selected period, prompts, which highlights how many of your track prompts it appeared in, domain trust, and page traffic. All handy signals for prioritizing outreach and updates. Using the AI Engine Selector at the top, you can narrow down results to one or more AI surfaces. As you review the table, hover over any number in source usage to quickly understand how often that page was cited within the chosen window. Pair this with the prompts count to decide whether to pitch an update to that source, add missing details to your page, or build a page tailored to the formats these sources support. And if you need to organize sources, take advantage of filters. The Prompts filter lets you include specific track prompts, so you can study sources only for the topics that matter right now. The Brands in AI Answers filter adds an important layer. Set a From To range to focus on answers that mention or link multiple brands. Useful when you want opportunities in roundups, comparisons, and best-of lists rather than single-brand answers. Both of these filters can be toggled off, plus you can reset with the Clear All option. There you have it. With the AI Results Tracker, you can monitor your visibility across AI answers, compare performance against competitors, and identify the exact sources to win next, turning research into measurable gains. AI Results Tracker is part of the AI Search add-on. The add-on unlocks higher prompt limits for tracking, AI research capabilities, and also includes SE Visible for broader brand monitoring across AI platforms, so be sure to check it out.
