I don't think the Chrome usage data itself is anywhere near as powerful as the usage data they have on the actual SERP. So who's clicking on what, and how long are they staying there? Are they coming back? Are they reforming a query? Going forward, though, in terms of browsers, I think browsers are going to be hugely important. If everybody starts searching within LLMs, we're going to lose that SERP usage data, which helps them rank sites effectively. Then how do we actually measure whether results are good or not?
